OK, these shots really creep me out but we're gonna post 'em anyway...
This is the unfolding life of Gavin Clark, born February 11, 2005, at 12:22pm. We are Joyce and Sean. We were 41 years old once, and that was....., how old are you now Gavin? And we are full-on, deer-in-the-headlight, "maturing" parents. We're tired and happy, cranky and overjoyed. We're having a blast and worrying about everything now... This is our son. This is his blog.
Yes, it's true, we had quite a bit of fun at our child's expense yesterday at the annual PRAM Halloween parade. We only hope that he grows up to see the humour (and get his own children back...)
Joyce did a great job of coming up with the concept and painting the trademark zig-zag stripe on his shirt.
(By the way, check out those shoes - they were Sean's when he was that age...)
Well, we had our first scare and rush to the hospital last night. We as parents were warned that this day would come, and it did last night when Gavin "jumped" out of his bjorn and broke his fall with his left eye brow. There was lots of screaming and crocodile tears - which the doctor later explained was a good thing (If he'd passed out, then we woulda been in trouble). Don't worry, the cut is not nearly that deep, and his parents have been humbled with a helluva scare.
We're at the airport and ready to go!
Joyce eats peanuts while Gavin puts his hands (and mouth) on everything he can reach. Ever wonder whose been handling the seatbelts and arm rests on the flight before you?
And we arrived! Gavin meets his 92 year old Great Grandmother for the first time.
We all went out to dinner and Gavin ate his tie while we enjoyed our food (and a little bit of wine).
And Gavin had great fun riding on Great Grandmother's lap the entire weekend.
