Christmas Day

We opened presents at home, had a waffle breakfast, took a nap and a walk on the beach then dressed up and went to our friends, Dave & Donna's, for a wonderful Christmas feast!

Christmas Shopping in Union Square!

Joyce did her anual shopping trip to Union Square with her old friend Dave Santori. Dad & Gavin joined them for dinner and sight-seeing to get in the spirit of the season! The staff at the restaurant loved Gavin and toured him around the kitchen.

2005 Dicken's Fair

Well, we should have gotten more pictures of the day, but we were having too much fun to pull out the camera. But yesterday we went to the annual Christmas Dickens Fair and Gavin was a big hit - especially because he was wearing his Santa Hat and his "John-John" jacket.

Greetings from sunny New Hampshire

(It may be sunny, but it was also 9 degrees this morning when we left to fly home to California...)

Here is a picture of the west coast Turners and (most of) the east coast Turners visiting Gavin's grandmother's memorial site in Exeter, New Hampshire this last weekend. Saturday the 10th was the first year anniversary of the passing of Sharon Kay Polkinghorn Turner Buchanan-Parker, and although Gavin missed getting to meet her by two months, it was very important that he got to go back and meet his new cousin Charlie, visit his grandmother on the Turner side and experience butt-cold temperatures (and snow) for the first time.

Above are two of the most important reasons why we went to the east coast: Gavin's 11-year old cousin Avery and 3-month old cousin Charlie. Charlie is becoming quite the baby bungee bouncer as well, and we got to go to Avery's first-ever school basketball game.

We went Christmas tree hunting one day and Gavin got to wear his new one-piece down outfit. He was the puffy dough-boy, but he was warm and happy.
