He's collecting rocks to throw in the creek. He's recently discovered his pockets, which means he can take twice as many rocks to the agua!

The nice thing about living on a volcano...

...in the high desert is that there are all these hot springs everywhere. Just kinda out there, down .3 miles on this dirt road, over the cattle crossing, then down that dirt road and left at the mesquite tree, and there you are. The locals selectively share the whereabouts of more and more natural hot springs. Other people have built them up and hot water flows in and everyone gets to splash in hot water with killer views.
